A little over four years ago, my family and I sold off all our stuff and high tailed it out of St. Petersburg Florida. We pretty much blindly moved to the land of Pura Vida Costa Rica and haven't looked back since.

Costa Rican town that gives all f*cks about development. They have a new marina, casino and a Margaritaville. This is the place where the tourists that like to stay at an all inclusive but never leave the resort go.
Costa Rican town that gives zero f*cks about development and we hope it stays that way. Other than the Patagonia Restaurant, it's pretty rustic.
Where all the real surfers go, the yoga bunnies stretch it out, and the Deadheads dance. Also has some of the best Tacos around.
If you're over the age of 40 and it's after 10pm, you're too old to be out in Tama. You're also probably looking for coke or ladies of the night. Let's Party!
Lakes and volcanos, cooler weather and moist AF. Our first home in CR! For us it was way to tranquillo but perfect if you're looking to hide out and live with the monkeys.
